Deborah Garvey FCCA MAAT
Director

Deborah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having qualified in 1994. Throughout her career Deborah has worked predominantly in industry where she obtained at first hand a thorough understanding of the importance of financial information to the success of a business. More recently Deborah has worked in practice advising clients on a range of accounts and tax issues.

Along the way, Deborah became interested in teaching, so much so that she accepted a lecturing position at the local college and taught an Accounting Technician course.

The combined knowledge that Deborah gained in industry and practice, together with her love of teaching, encouraged her to set up About Accounts Limited in 2002 with a view to helping business owners better understand and control their finances.

Jacqui Wingfield BSc ACMA

Jacqui qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1988 and added the School Bursar qualification from the NCSL in 2002. Jacqui has worked in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, retail, financial services and healthcare. In addition, for 5 years she was a primary school bursar and school governor.

Jacqui’s skills lie in practical, hands on problem solving that can rapidly add value to a business’s financial and administrative challenges, however complex.
