Deborah Garvey FCCA MAAT
Director

Deborah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having originally qualified in 1994. Throughout her career, Deborah has worked predominately in industry where she obtained at first hand a thorough understanding of the importance of financial information to the success of a business. More recently Deborah has worked in private practice advising clients on a range of accounts issues.

Along the way, Deborah became interested in teaching, so much so that she accepted a lecturing position at the local college and taught an Accounting Technician course.

The combined knowledge that Deborah gained in industry and private practice, together with her love of teaching, encouraged her to set up About Accounts Limited in order to help business people to better understand their finances.

 
     

Sarah Pierce MAAT
Consultant

Sarah is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. She started her career in industry as an Accounts Administrator and progressed ultimately to become a Finance Manager at a national sports centre.

Before joining About Accounts Limited Sarah was running a bookkeeping business, providing outsourced bookkeeping for small businesses that had neither the time nor knowledge to undertake this task effectively.
